Subscriptions & billing
Astra Pro subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. To manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel:
- Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or
- Visit Apple Subscription Management.
Restore purchases from the paywall inside the app using Restore Purchases.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Astra account in the app:
- Open the Library tab and tap your profile / settings icon.
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap Delete Account, then Permanently Delete Account to confirm.
This removes your login, synced library data, highlights, quizzes, and Ask Astra history. Apple subscriptions must be cancelled separately under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Common questions
- Importing books: Use the import flow in Library to add EPUB or PDF files from Files.
- Highlights: Select text in the reader, choose a color, and your highlight syncs to your account when signed in.
- Ask Astra: Available with Astra Pro. Answers are generated by an AI model hosted on Groq Cloud from the book content you provide.
- Delete account/data: Use Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or email support if you cannot access the app.
